Smaller hooks - higher landingrates

Anglers often discuss which hooks are best – and why. Jens Bursell has tested the importance of hooksize – and its influence on crucial aspects such as penetration, hookhold and the amount of damage to the fish. His conclusion is clear – smaller hooks mounted the right way leads to an incredible 80-100 % increase in landing- and catchrates – and does significantly less damage to the fish.
